Today, Ukrainians around the world mark the 209th anniversary of the birth of Ukraine’s national poet - Kobzar - Taras Shevchenko. He has been a symbol of enslaved people fighting for freedom for centuries. His words are more than ever relevant today as Ukrainians bravely resist Russia’s genocidal war.
